WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Everything you need to know about Iron & Axis, our services, and getting started with your health.
What is Iron & Axis?
Iron & Axis was created with veterans and first responders in mind people who spend their lives looking after others and often put their own health second.
Our services can also be appropriate for anyone looking for convenient, personalized health and wellness support. Whether you're dealing with a specific concern or simply want to be more proactive about your health, we'll help you understand where to start.
Who is Iron & Axis for?
Our services are designed with veterans and first responders in mind, but we're here for anyone looking for convenient, personalized support for their health and wellness.
Do I need to be a veteran or first responder to use Iron & Axis?
No. While our roots are in serving those who serve, our health and wellness services are available to anyone who wants a more proactive approach to their health.
How does the process work?
Getting started is designed to be simple.
You'll begin by providing some information about your health, goals, and concerns. From there, you'll connect with a healthcare provider through telehealth when appropriate.
Depending on your individual needs, your provider may recommend bloodwork or other assessments. Your results can then be reviewed with you so you have a better understanding of what they mean and what options may be appropriate moving forward.
Your care is based on your health, your goals, and your individual situation.
Do you offer hormone health support?
Hormones play an important role in many parts of your health, including energy, mood, sleep, body composition, sexual health, and overall wellbeing.
Changes in hormone levels can sometimes be associated with symptoms such as fatigue, changes in weight, reduced sex drive, mood changes, or changes in physical performance.
Iron & Axis provides personalized hormone health support based on your symptoms, health history, goals, and appropriate testing.
Why is bloodwork important?
Bloodwork can provide information about what's happening inside your body that you may not be able to identify from symptoms alone.
Depending on your situation, testing may provide information about areas such as hormones, metabolic health, blood counts, cholesterol, blood sugar, and other important health markers.
Your provider can determine which tests are appropriate for you and help explain your results in a way that's easier to understand.
The goal isn't simply to give you a list of numbers — it's to help you understand what those numbers may mean for your health.
Can Iron & Axis help with low energy or fatigue?
If you're constantly feeling tired, run down, or like you don't have the same energy you used to, there can be many possible reasons.
Sleep, stress, nutrition, lifestyle, medications, medical conditions, and hormone levels can all play a role.
Rather than assuming there's one simple answer, the goal is to look at your overall health and determine what areas may need further attention.
Can you help with weight loss and body composition?
Iron & Axis can provide personalized support for people looking to improve their weight, body composition, strength, and overall health.
Your approach may include discussion around nutrition, lifestyle, activity, health markers, and other factors that can influence your goals.
The focus is on creating a plan that makes sense for your individual health and circumstances, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
How do I know which service is right for me?
You don't have to figure that out on your own.
Your starting point will depend on your symptoms, health history, goals, and what you're hoping to accomplish.
If you're unsure where to begin, start with GET STARTED and we'll guide you through the process.
